good morning.
my books and notes have been my best friends the last couple of days.
i am really thankful that my exam timetable is relatively spread out, as it was last sem.
m&m if you see this thank you for being such delightful dinner company yesterday, i really had a good time talking to you all.

A heart at peace gives life to the body,
but envy rots the bones.
I find it intriguing that peace is a starting point for life- a life filled with faith, hope, and love. Indeed someone told me that revisiting the point of mountain top clarity - of the peace that surpasses all understanding - is such an important aspect of remembering why you are doing what you are doing. come back to the higher purpose of it all. it's so easy to get caught up in the rat race, and that is sadly meaningless. Having peace about you do is just so important, i cannot stress it enough. But I can say that it is one of the principles that I live by and make decisions by. For I know that this inner peace of having a quietened heart helps guard my heart in my Maker. Peace He gives me, peace He leaves with me; He does not give as the 'world' gives.
And what of envy poisoning our very being? Comparisons in our limited human sight is like a dark viscous fluid that creeps into and darkens our hearts. It is so easy to get caught up in the humdrum of life as defined by the world around us, using status, power, popularity and just some of the yardsticks by which to measure success.
Believe me I quite often find myself affected by comparisons with others. Then I have to remember, that such comparisons are needless. Why try to be someone else when the Creator fearfully and wonderfully created me to be to be well, me? Endeavor to be the best _____(insert name) that you are called to be.
